Get Set Grow Conditioner is slightly acidic (with a pH around 3.0 - 4.0), which helps to close the hair cuticle after it has been opened by the more neutral to alkaline shampoo. This smoothing of the cuticle helps to retain moisture and give hair a smoother appearance.

Increasing the moisture content of hair is important for increasing its flexibility and strength.
